“Fin de l‘ere” is a captivating multimedia theater installation that delves into the intricacies of a repetitive situation, one that proves impossible to escape. The performance centers on a poignant dialogue between two partners, intertwining discussions about their relationship and food. This theatrical experience is seamlessly integrated into a gallery setting, complemented by immersive videos, evocative soundscapes, and thoughtfully crafted scenography. Throughout the installation, the two actors skillfully repeat their dialogue, navigating through different emotional stages in sync with subtle shifts in lighting. Spectators are invited to wander around, adding a dynamic element to the immersive experience. As the actors progress, a palpable sense of exhaustion and frustration permeates the atmosphere, making the prospect of leaving with dignity increasingly elusive. “Fin de l‘ere” had its impactful debut at the New Gallery in Prague, where its thought-provoking narrative and engaging multimedia elements captivated audiences and left a lasting impression on the intersection of theater and visual arts.
